With a Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, you will gain knowledge of many illnesses and theses that clinicians encounter on a daily basis. This degree will be a great asset for students looking to pursue a career in the clinical field or other health settings. You will learn about topics such as addiction, depression, anxiety and developmental disorders.

Difference between a BA and a BSc

A Bachelor of Art (BA) is more focused on humanities-based education whereas a Bachelor of Science (BSc) provides more knowledge of science and mathematics. It is recommended to choose a BSc when wanting to pursue a career as a clinical psychologist as good preparation in science and mathematics are essential for future graduate studies in clinical psychology. However, graduating from one or the other does not impact acceptance to a graduate program.
